IO Interactive, the studio behind the internationally acclaimed HITMAN franchise and the upcoming 007 First Light, has launched a brand-new Elusive Target mission in HITMAN World of Assassination. Titled The Harbinger, the latest mission stars blockbuster actress Milla Jovovich and is available free from February 25 to March 24, 2026.
Players can access the mission in-game or via the Free Demo (formerly the Free Starter Pack) across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone, iPad, and — for the first time — Apple silicon Mac devices via the Mac App Store and Steam.
The Harbinger – A Deadly Return to Dartmoor
In The Harbinger, Agent 47 is assigned to eliminate Lilith Devereux, the ambitious would-be CEO of Ether Corporation. A relative newcomer among the global elite, Devereux’s meteoric rise has been shadowed by the suspicious deaths of her predecessors and whispered alliances with powerful backers.
The mission takes players back to Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor — a location fans will remember well — though this time it may hold a few unexpected surprises. Revisiting the Patient Zero storyline with a high-profile Hollywood star marks another bold crossover moment for the World of Assassination.

Patient Zero Requiem Pack – New DLC Available Now
Alongside the free Elusive Target mission, IO Interactive has released the Patient Zero Requiem Pack (RRP: $4.99 / €4.99 / £3.99), a new DLC bundle themed around The Harbinger.
The pack includes:

Live Roadmap Updates and Returning Content
A brand-new roadmap begins today, delivering both fresh and returning content for players. This includes two new challenges, two new Featured Contracts, two new Twitch Drops, returning Elusive Targets, and additional live events.
IO Interactive has also teased further content planned for 2026, suggesting that the World of Assassination is far from slowing down.
HITMAN World of Assassination Launches on Apple Silicon Mac
In another major update, HITMAN World of Assassination is officially available today on the Apple silicon Mac lineup (requiring 16GB+ memory). The game can be purchased via the Mac App Store or Steam, and players who already own the game on iPhone or iPad can download the Mac version free of charge through the Mac App Store.
All content — including The Harbinger starring Milla Jovovich — is supported on the new platform from day one.
Additionally, IO Interactive recently introduced cross-progression across platforms, allowing players to carry their progress between supported devices. Whether you’re eliminating targets on console, PC, mobile, or Mac, Agent 47’s career now travels with you.
