Howdy! 24 years old, graduated from Sunderland University in 2011 with a degree in TV and Radio Production, and to get it I just had to present and produce radio shows and write scripts. I did really well, I went to New York to pick up a swanky international award, but still I'm trapped in my hometown yet to start my career, but it's not all bad really, I'm getting married in the near future so that's pretty awesome :) Working at the moment as a kid's activity and sport coach at a top Gym & Spa complex. As well as having a great joy in playing video games, I am also a huge wrestling nut, even went to New Orleans for Wrestlemania 30, I even bumped into Rob Van Dam and Hacksaw Jim Duggen on Bourbon Street coming out of a Gentleman's Club together, what a weekend! Also if anyone lives in the North West, make sure you head to Preston once a month, PCW is the greatest wrestling promotion in the UK! Finally, I'm an aspiring children's author! Currently I have penned 12 original poems and 3 original stories and I hope to have the first of many books published soon, watch this space! Favourite game of all time: Dragon Quest VIII - Journey Of The Cursed King (PS2, 2006)

Allstar Heroes Preview

Let me cut to the chase, Allstar Heroes is the best mobile game I’ve ever played, and this is coming from a guy who otherwise loathes the world of bus stop/lunch break gaming. For me it’s difficult to list mobile…

Bladestorm: Nightmare Review

The reason why I love the Assassins Creed franchise so much is because it’s based on history, though admittedly very loosely, it’s not the boring sides of history you had to sit through in school. These digital history lectures that…

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Havoc Pack Review

Back in November I was proved wrong by the world and I was truly caught with my trousers down. Being a stubborn young lad, I tried my best to hate Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the latest addition to, in…

White Night Review

Horror films are gash. They bore me with their predictable jump scares, lame narratives and idiotic implausible characters. Horror games on the other hand pull me into the screen and encase me into the world which I’m playing in, they…

Suikoden II Review

Continuing from my previous review for Konami’s superb RPG Suikoden that hit the UK PSN last month, I find myself yet again reviewing a 15 year old game that has embarrassingly escaped me. If you haven’t read my review of…

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Review

It’s probably fair to say that if I asked most of you to name a character from the Dead or Alive series, the best answer you could give me would perhaps be “Ooo isn’t that guy from Ninja Gaiden in…

Suikoden Review

I must say this is a first, reviewing the ‘new’ release of a 19 year game from a platform that’s over 2 decades old. Gamers and critics everywhere are going bloody loopy over a Playstation game that had its run…

Syn Review

Mobile games are now as common place as sliced bread. Whether you’re sat in a pub, classroom, bus or a bar mitzvah, chances are most people around you are furiously swiping and fingering their mobile phones to ease the slow…

Grim Fandango Remastered Review

It’s fair to say that game developers and writers are running out of ideas, otherwise we wouldn’t need to keep revisiting the past would we. Sure in the past couple of years some cracking narratives have surfaced and have been…

Lara Croft & The Temple Of Osiris Review

I’m not afraid to admit that whispers of frustration escape my lips when spin off titles from popular franchises are announced out of the blue. Successful developers and award winning studios can release one of the greatest titles of the…
