Samsung has introduced its very own groundbreaking Esports tournament, celebrating the latest entry in the industry-leading Odyssey range of gaming monitors.
The Odyssey League, named after the innovative range of gaming monitors, is a search for Europe’s most competitive PUBG players. Players who meet the high performance standards synonymous with the Odyssey brand and are willing to prove it have a chance to win part of the massive €25.000 prize pool.
The expansion of the Odyssey gaming monitor range, which started with the G7 and G9 in January at CES, now sees the introduction of the most accessible product yet: G5. Designed with demanding gamers in mind, the G5 boasts high performance in every area: a lightning quick response time of 1ms, 144Hz refresh rate, powerful AMD FreeSync Premium and a sharp Quad-High Definition (QHD; 2560×1440 resolution) VA panel. Additionally, the G5 features a cutting edge Samsung-pioneered 1000R curved screen.
The tournament, with registrations starting today, features national qualifiers and knock-outs across 12 European regions, running from September 28 until November 29. The best players from each region progress to the two-day Pan-European final on December 5th and 6th.
